How to start as a webcam model in Torrevieja: a step-by-step guide

Step 1: decide if it suits you

Before you sign up, think about what kind of shows you'd enjoy. It doesn't have to be explicit: some models chat, sing, do their make-up or work out live. Stripchat is an adult platform and some shows are explicit, but you choose your limits. Write them down as a list: it will help with your profile and with saying no confidently.

Step 2: sign up and verify your ID

Creating a model account on Stripchat is free. You will then need to verify your identity with valid ID and a photo of yourself. It is mandatory, only adults 18+ are accepted, and it protects everyone on the platform. Your documents are never shown to viewers.

Step 3: set up your privacy

Do this before your first stream:

• Choose a stage name that doesn't resemble your real name.
• Switch on country or region blocking. You can block all of Spain or just your region. Blocking works on the viewer's IP address, so it isn't 100% accurate (especially at region level) and a VPN can get around it.
• Create an email address only for this work.
• Check what can be seen behind you: no windows with views, family photos or documents.

There are more details in our anonymity guide.

Step 4: prepare your space and equipment

A phone or laptop with a camera is enough to start. Put the light in front of you, not behind, and find a clean background. Check your connection is stable with a video test. You can upgrade the camera or microphone later if you need to.

Step 5: build a profile that stands out

Write a short bio: what languages you speak, what you enjoy and when you usually stream. In Torrevieja it is common to speak Spanish and English, and some people speak other languages too; mention it in your profile, because it helps viewers from different countries find you. Add a simple tip menu showing what you do and what you don't.

Step 6: do your first show

Your first stream doesn't have to be perfect. Say hello, introduce your room and chat. Use the moderation tools: you can mute, block or kick any user. Everything stays on the platform; never share contact details.

Income varies a lot with your hours, consistency and audience, and it is usually modest at first. Nobody can guarantee you an amount.
